The Skeld to The Airship: Our Among Us Designs Explained
Every Among Us design in our shop starts with something from the game: a map, an impostor moment or a joke every player gets. Here's what each one shows.
Which maps are on the designs?
- Welcome to The Skeld: the original map from 2018, drawn as a white outline of the ship with script lettering inside.
- Mira HQ Come On Up: the headquarters map from 2019, with "Come on up!" above the tower and the clouds.
- Polus Stay Safe: the research station from 2019 as a snowy postcard, signed "Stay safe out there!"
- The Airship: a vintage movie poster for the 2021 map, based on the Toppat Clan airship from our Henry Stickmin games.
Where are the impostors?
- Impostor Lightning: a cyan crewmate splitting into teeth and a red tongue under the word ImPOstor.
- Impostor Shadow: a huge grinning shadow looming over one tiny crewmate.
- Impostor Glint: a black crewmate with one red glint on the visor.
- Shh: a finger with a visor on top on the front, and a hand holding a knife on the back.
- Menacing: two crewmates posing in a manga panel with the ドドド sound effect.
And the jokes?
I Survived Electrical is for anyone who has walked into Electrical on The Skeld alone. No cameras, a vent and the lights going out: the pink crewmate on the design did not make it.
Something calmer?
- Visor, Pocket Crewmate and Gold Star Crewmate keep it small and simple.
- Pool Party and Campfire show the crew on a day off.
- Space Splash, Star Logo and Metal Logo put the name of the game front and centre.
Tip: the Shh, Gold Star Crewmate and Metal Logo designs have a design on both sides.
